Welcome Message from our Founder

Welcome to Masthead! Whether this is your first visit or you are a returning customer from our former brand, BFFL Co, we are pleased to present our new website and carefully created collection of breast surgery recovery products designed to enhance your treatment experience.

Our state-of-the-art Elizabeth Pink Surgical Bra® is used by the finest surgeons in the top hospitals in the country.

Our colorful, uplifting recovery bags–the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one preparing for breast surgery, chemo, or radiation–are specially designed and stocked with everything a patient will need for surgery and treatment, and for the transition back to active life.

As a physician and former mastectomy patient, I’m able to implement a process of multispecialist collaboration in which our designers and product developers listen to and respond to the needs of surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, physical therapists, nurses and, most importantly, patients, so that we can create the best products for modern treatment.

Sitting together in a roundtable environment, we design the optimal products for YOU, ensuring that Masthead® bras, bags and accessories are developed and made to exacting quality and performance standards designed to keep you feeling comfortable, confident, and beautiful.

In my monthly blog posts, I help shed light on some of the latest medical news, and give tips and advice to help you get better faster and then to maintain your healthy and active lifestyle.

We invite you to join the many women who have found support, comfort and recovery at Masthead®.

With gratitude and respect,

Dr. Elizabeth Chabner Thompson, MD, MPH

Founder and CEO, Masthead®
